The U.S. Department of Education is accepting registrations for the Presidential 1776 Award, a nationwide competition recognizing exceptional student knowledge of the American founding.
Everglades City Schools students will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost during the 2025-2026 school year.

Your participation is requested! Please provide feedback on the 2025-2026 Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Parent Survey provided by the Florida Department of Education.
UPDATE: The Special Public Hearing has been rescheduled for Friday, May 1, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Administrative Center.
